The interaction of a loudspeaker systems with the environment around them determines whether their usage in a particular environment is appropriate. Indoor deployment loudspeakers are generally used for a room and not for open places or places that host public events, whereas outdoor deployment loudspeakers are mostly used in venues that host public events such as concerts, theaters, restaurants, etc., and a network of loudspeakers is placed at different places in these venues.
The W750 pump construction is based around a fabricated casing and replaceable sleeve in which the screws rotate. The screw form and shaft are of one-piece construction to maximise accuracy and reduce deflection even at high discharge pressure. The screwset is designed so that the screws intermesh without metallic contact, making the pump suitable for non-lubricating duties. About Anne Currier Anne Currier received her B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute, Chicago and her M.F.A. from the University of Washington, Seattle. Ms. Currier has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York Foundation for the Arts and the Virginia A. Groot Foundation. She was honored with the American Crafts Council College of Fellows career achievement award.
Beginning in 2009, Currier has collaborated with Boston Valley Terra Cotta to create unique ceramic tiles for interior walls. Her first commission, La Stanza di Linea, is a 14 x 40-foot wall in the Choral Room in the Miller Performing Arts Center at Alfred University. Incorporating three different tiles to create the pattern, the tiles were mounted to the wall utilizing Boston Valley’s unique clip system. Next, BKSK, the architectural firm that designed 688 Broadway, a 14-unit luxury apartment building in New York City’s NOHO neighborhood, chose one of Currier’s Boston Valley Terra Cotta tiles for installation in the entryway.
So, it is not possible to predict exactly how much hydrazine Dawn will need nor exactly how much it has. There is still another source of uncertainty. There is a complex network of tubing, valves and a filter between the tank and each of the 12 thrusters located around the spacecraft. Once the pressure in the lines is too low for a thruster to operate, the remaining hydrazine cannot be expelled. Of course, engineers can calculate how much of the hydrazine will be trapped in the system (known as the unusable hydrazine). That turns out to be 1.7 pints (0.8 liters), but, as with these other problems, they cannot know the answer with absolute precision, so it could be a little more or a little less.
In the end, the study was able to consider a half dozen or so sites, and recommended the two that came out at the top of the study’s site rating and ranking rubric: an expanded convention center at the existing site that would incorporate some of the Statler but also require demolishing an entire city block, and a brand new convention center on the parking lots behind the Buffalo News and the HSBC Atrium. The administration is asking residents to read the study (here) and weigh in on whether we should move forward or not, and if so, where.
